  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar (optional) Use if strawberries are tart.
For the Pina Colada Layer
  • 1 cup Fresh Pineapple Canned pineapple works as a substitute.
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk Coconut cream adds richness.
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Keeps the drink frosty.
  • 3/4 cup Pineapple Juice Fresh juice preferred.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash 1 cup of fresh strawberries, remove stems, and hull them. Blend with 1/4 cup of pineapple juice until smooth for the strawberry base.
  2. Rinse the blender, then add 1 cup of fresh pineapple chunks, 3/4 cup of pineapple juice, 1 cup of ice cubes, and 1 cup of coconut milk. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Fill tall glasses 25% full with the strawberry base. Top with the blended coconut and pineapple mixture to create a gradient.
  4. Gently use a straw or spoon to swirl layers together without mixing too vigorously.
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a fresh strawberry on the rim. Serve immediately.
