Preparation Steps
- Finely chop the green cabbage, onion, and garlic. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the browned meat to the slow cooker and add chopped cabbage, onion, garlic, and tomato sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add salt, pepper, and any optional spices. Mix well.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Once cooked, stir gently and serve warm, optionally topping with cheese.
