  • 8 ounces Halloumi Cheese Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  • 6 pieces Wooden Skewers Soak in water to prevent burning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the halloumi cheese into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, fresh lemon juice, thyme leaves, black pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the cheese cubes to the marinade and fully coat them. Allow to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Thread the marinated cheese cubes onto the wet skewers.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C). Oil the grates.
  7. Grill the skewers for 2-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the grill and serve warm, garnished with fresh thyme.
