Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, black beans, corn, salsa, and taco seasoning. Mix everything until well-coated.
  3. Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Layer half of the chicken mixture into the bottom of the dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the first layer of chicken mixture.
  5. Add the remaining chicken mixture on top of the cheese layer, then sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
  6. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25–30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes before serving. Top with optional ingredients before indulging.
