  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar apple cider vinegar or lemon juice can serve as substitutes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil can substitute with olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar omit for lower sugar option

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust according to spice preference

Preparation Steps

  3. Mix the Dressing: Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Pour dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss gently until evenly coated.
  5. Adjust Seasoning: Taste the salad and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes if needed.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving to meld flavors.
