  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt

  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning or a homemade blend

  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice fresh
  • 1 cup Tortilla Strips for crunch

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until no pink remains.
  2. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare the rice according to package instructions or reheat leftover rice.
  4. Chop romaine lettuce and dice the avocado.
  5. Heat black beans in a small saucepan for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Assemble the taco bowl starting with brown rice, followed by lettuce, ground beef, and black beans.
  7. Top with shredded cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro.
  8. Drizzle lime juice and sprinkle tortilla strips before serving.
