- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with paper liners and cooking spray.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk dark brown sugar with eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in most of the chopped pecans, reserving some for topping.
