Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 whole Branzino ask your fishmonger to clean, gut, and scale it for convenience
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 slices Lemons for stuffing inside and garnishing
For the Seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons Melted Butter can be replaced with olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or avocado oil as a substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika consider smoked paprika for flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Squeezed Lemon Juice fresh for best impact
  • to taste Sea Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Veggies
  • 2 cups Potatoes thinly sliced or cubed to 1/2 inch
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers sliced
For Baking
  • 0.5 cup White Wine or chicken broth, vegetable broth as non-alcoholic option
  • 1 tablespoon Dry Parsley
  • to taste Fresh Parsley for garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil your baking sheet.
  2. Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry. Make three or more slits diagonally on both sides of the fish.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, sea salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Brush the seasoning mix all over the branzino, including inside the cavity and slits.
  5. Stuff the cavity of the branzino with minced garlic, sliced onion, and lemon slices.
  6. Arrange bell peppers and potatoes around the branzino on the baking sheet.
  7. Pour white wine or chicken broth over the vegetables.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning mix over the vegetables and branzino.
  9. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until flaky and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  10. Drizzle with extra lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
