Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Pasta Water: Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
  2. Blanch Vegetables: Trim broccoli and asparagus, blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Cook Pasta: Add linguine to boiling water, follow package instructions for al dente.
  4. Sauté Garlic: In a pan, heat olive oil and butter, add garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add lemon juice, broccoli, asparagus, and capers to the pan, season and toss.
  6. Mix Pasta and Sauce: Drain pasta, combine with sauce, add Parmesan if desired.
