  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk any type you prefer works
Frosting Ingredients
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened, can substitute with coconut oil
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar ensure sifted to avoid clumps
  • 2 tablespoons Honey can substitute with agave
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Cupcake Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a standard cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the honey and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, dried lavender, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, mixing gently.
  6. Spoon the batter into each cupcake liner about 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Beat the softened butter for the frosting until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, honey, and vanilla.
  9. Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them generously and garnish with dried lavender and a drizzle of honey.
