  • 2 ounces Hot Water Heated to about 175°F (80°C)
  • 1-2 teaspoons Matcha Green Tea Powder High-quality ceremonial grade
For the Latte
  • 6 ounces Dairy-Free Milk Almond, oat, or coconut milk
  • to taste Honey or Pure Maple Syrup Optional sweetener
For Serving
  • as needed Ice Cubes To chill the latte

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha green tea powder into a bowl or glass to prevent clumps.
  2. Heat water to approximately 175°F (80°C) and pour in about 2 ounces. Whisk using a bamboo whisk in a 'w' shape for about 30 seconds until frothy.
  3. Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the prepared matcha mixture over the ice cubes.
  5. Gently pour in about 6 ounces of your preferred dairy-free milk along the side of the glass. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup and stir well to combine.
  6. Enjoy your Iced Matcha Latte immediately!
