Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to halt cooking.
- Sauté Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and black pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- Prepare Glaze: In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in ¼ cup of honey and 1 teaspoon of black pepper, simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Coat Chicken: Return chicken to the skillet and pour the honey pepper glaze over. Toss for 2 minutes until fully coated. Set aside.
- Make Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, heat 1.5 cups of heavy cream over low-medium heat. Gradually whisk in cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt to taste.
- Combine: Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce, stir to coat. Fold in glazed chicken and remaining glaze.
- Serve: Transfer to a serving dish or bowls, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
