- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Transfer beef and onion mixture to the baking dish. Layer thinly sliced potatoes evenly on top.
