Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Vegetables
  • 1 pound Ribeye or Sirloin Steak Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets Fresh or thawed frozen
  • 2 cups Bell Peppers Mixed colors for variety
  • 1 cup Carrots Julienned or sliced
For the Bowl Base
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice Choose white, brown, or quinoa
For the Flavor
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Substitute with tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil Can replace with vegetable or olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce Optional for added sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used instead
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder Fresh ginger is a great alternative
For Seasoning and Garnish
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut ribeye or sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces. Chop broccoli florets, slice bell peppers, and julienne carrots.
Cook Rice
  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions, bring water to a boil, add rice, cover, and simmer.
Sear Steak
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil and sear steak pieces for 3-5 minutes until brown.
Stir-Fry Vegetables
  1. In the same pan, add more oil if needed and stir-fry broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots for 3-5 minutes.
Combine
  1. Return steak to the pan, add soy sauce, sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve
  1. Spoon cooked rice into bowls, top with steak and vegetable mixture, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
