Chili Base
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can swap with ground turkey
  • 1 can Kidney Beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes Canned for convenience
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Chili Seasoning Adjust to taste
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Diced
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic Fresh for best flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the onion and drain the kidney beans.
  2. Gather all ingredients: ground beef, diced tomatoes, and chili seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Brown the beef and onion in a skillet for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Transfer beef to the crockpot; add beans, tomatoes and seasoning.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Stir and serve hot with desired toppings.

Notes
