For the Flatbread
  • 1 piece flatbread Use store-bought or homemade.
For the Toppings
  • 2 pieces peaches Fresh peaches are ideal.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Brush generously.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese Can substitute with fresh mozzarella.
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil Can substitute with arugula or mint.
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze Drizzle for finishing.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Slice fresh peaches in half and remove the pits. Brush cut sides with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Remove peaches and allow to cool before slicing them into thick wedges.
  5. Place flatbread on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
  6. Spread burrata cheese on the grilled flatbread and layer with grilled peach slices.
  7. Scatter fresh basil leaves over the flatbread and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  8. Slice the flatbread into wedges and serve immediately.
