For Garnishing
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Can substitute with chives.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Japchae
  1. Soak the sweet potato noodles in hot water for 30 minutes until pliable. Slice your choice of protein and prepare mixed vegetables.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet, stir-fry the sliced beef for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. Stir-fry the prepared vegetables in the same skillet for 3-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Drain noodles and add to skillet with vegetables, followed by stir-fried beef and soy sauce. Mix continuously for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving hot or at room temperature.
