Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Fork
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, combine ¾ of the Ghirardelli white chocolate chips, Wilton red candy melts, and Wilton royal blue candy melts. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Take a Double Stuff Oreo and place it on a fork. Submerge it in the melted chocolate and gently lift it out. Tap the fork on the bowl's edge to remove excess chocolate.
  3. While the coating is still wet, sprinkle white nonpareils over the cookies or drizzle extra melted candy melts on top.
  4. Place each decorated Oreo on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for about 15 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.
  5. Repeat the dipping and decorating process with the remaining Oreos.
  6. Once all cookies are set and decorated, serve on a festive platter for your summer gatherings.
