Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Banana Bread Cheesecake
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until creamy. Blend in vanilla extract and flour, then add eggs one at a time.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla. Fold in mashed bananas, then combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Carefully pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan and spoon the banana bread batter on top.
  5. Bake for approximately 60–70 minutes, then cool completely at room temperature.
  6. Beat together cream cheese and butter for the frosting. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and sour cream until fluffy.
