  • 4 tablespoons Soy Sauce Or Tamari for Gluten-Free
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Brightens up the dish
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Adjust according to heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon Red-Pepper Flakes Adjust according to heat preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Coat tofu with cornstarch, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet and fry tofu until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes per side.
  5. In the same skillet, melt vegan butter and add garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add soy sauce, lemon juice, and red-pepper flakes to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Combine tofu with the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
