Ingredients
  

For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce substitute with tamari for gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup Oyster Sauce hoisin sauce works as a substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Honey can substitute with brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar apple cider vinegar is an alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Browning Sauce optional
For the Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Flank Steak can swap with chicken, pork, or shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil olive oil can be used in a pinch
  • 1 medium Onion or shallots for flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger diced
  • 2 cups Broccoli can add bell peppers or snap peas
  • 8 ounces Spaghetti Noodles lo mein or egg noodles as alternatives
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Water for mixing into cornstarch slurry

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions in boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain and toss with sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and browning sauce in a medium bowl. Set the sauce aside.
  3. Mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl to form a slurry. Set aside.
  4. Slice flank steak thinly against the grain. Combine with half of the soy sauce mixture and cornstarch slurry, then marinate briefly.
  5. Preheat wok, add sesame oil, and sear marinated beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same wok, stir-fry diced onions, garlic, and ginger for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the cooked spaghetti and toss together.
  8. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef, broccoli, and noodles, and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  9. Return the beef to the wok, mix to combine and heat everything through for another 1-2 minutes.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
