For the Salad
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta Feel free to swap for your preferred shape.
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved for freshness.
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Pearls Cubed mozzarella or burrata also works well.
  • 1 cup Fresh Pesto Can be homemade or store-bought.
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Basil Enhances aroma and flavor.

Method
 

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain pasta in a colander and let it cool completely.
  3. While the pasta cools, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Gather mozzarella pearls and optional fresh basil.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled pasta, halved tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella. Pour in fresh pesto and gently toss to coat.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. If using basil, chop and add as a garnish.
  6. Serve immediately at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
